Banana (scientific name: Musa nana Lour.) Musa bananas, also refers to its fruit, widely planted in the tropics. The banana is fragrant and nutritious. The plant is a large herb. It emerges from the rhizome. It forms a 3 to 6 meter (10 to 20 feet) high false stem from the lower part of the leaf sheath; the leaf is oblong to elliptic and some are long 3 to 3.5 meters (10 to 11.5 feet), 65 cm wide (26 inches), and 10 to 20 clustered stem tops. The spikes drooped  , and they were taken out from the top of the dummy rod. The flowers were mostly pale yellow; the fruit sequence bent down, resulting in 10 to 20 strings, about 50 to 150. After the plant has died, the roots that grow from the rhizome continue to multiply, and each plant can live for many years. Native to Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hainan, Guangdong, and Guangxi are all cultivated.
